Our Unique Accommodation
Priding
ourselves
as a small Guesthouse with two unique “Domed” rooms
as well as two conventional
rooms only, we guarantee our guests the personal attention they all deserve.
Our
distinct,
individual en‑suite
“Domes”, the Heron and Pelican,
are notably spacious and
have their own large en‑suite bathrooms. Equipped with a television,
tea and
coffee station, fridge, air‑conditioners, ceiling fans as well as the
necessary
mosquito screens, all your needs are met. Being
apart from
the main house three of our rooms afford our guests privacy.
Our
two smaller
conventional en‑suite rooms, one of which is inside the main house are
suited
to those looking for the more conventional feel.
Comfortably seated
either at our extra‑large, solid oak dining table inside the main house
or on
the patio overlooking the lake and garden, our breakfasts and dinners are
cooked with passion by Sandi who prides herself in preparing delicious,
wholesome, South African fare.

Our Botanical Garden
The garden is a
botanical paradise and offers an abundance of birds for the avid bird
lover.
The Purple Crested Lourie, Wood Owl, Green Pigeon and Crowned Hornbill,
to name
but a few.
Venture out under
the starlit African skies and
into the garden around your room to discover the
playful, yet elusive Lesser Bushbaby.
For those of you
who are early to rise, please take the time to enjoy our spectacular
sunrises
over the lake. Somehow your soul is
stirred
with such a beautiful start to a brand new day.
Our garden is a
splendour of botanical variance and is home, like the rest of the area
to a
great variety of butterfly species. False Bay is known to have about half of KwaZulu
Natal’s butterfly species. Tortoise are
also to
be found hiding amongst the undergrowth only becoming bolder when the
Mango
trees at the bottom of the garden shed their delicious fruit.
Following a day of
adventure or simply want to relax, take a refreshing swim in our
swimming pool.
